Meet The Team

Tim has been leading Tamar as Managing Director for 22 years. His favourite part of the job is working alongside such a fantastic team and seeing so many loyal customers return year after year.

Away from work, Tim is a keen supporter of Plymouth Argyle and enjoys long walks with his Labradors, Duke and Dougie. His vehicle of choice would be the Swift Escape 684 thanks to its brilliant layout… and, according to Tim, the excellent boot space for his wife!

Ian has been part of the Tamar family for 18 fabulous years as our Sales Director. His favourite thing about working here? Everything! From the fantastic team and loyal customers to being part of the caravan and motorhome industry, he says there’s simply not much not to like.

When he’s not at work, Ian enjoys spending quality time with his family, heading off on caravan holidays and cheering on Plymouth Argyle as a proud member of the Green Army.

Choosing a favourite vehicle isn’t easy, but if he had to narrow it down, he’d opt for the Swift Challenger Grande 640 for family adventures. Although, the Voyager 584 is a very close second!

Luke joined the Tamar team October 2025 as a Sales Executive and loves working alongside such a great team. His favourite part of the job is helping customers find the perfect caravan, campervan or motorhome to suit their lifestyle.

Outside of work, you’ll usually find Luke boxing or enjoying time with friends over a drink. If he could choose any vehicle from the Tamar range, it would be the Swift Kon-Tiki 784. Its practical, versatile layout makes it the perfect fit for family life and weekends away.

Amy joined the Tamar team in June 2026 as our Marketing Coordinator and has quickly made herself at home. Her favourite part of the job is the brilliant team, who keep her laughing every day (even if they do get dragged into the latest marketing idea or social media video!).

Outside of work, you’ll usually find Amy drinking matcha or planning her next holiday – any excuse to get away! If she could choose any vehicle, it would be the Volkswagen Bespoke campervan, giving her the freedom to head off on adventures while also doubling up as her everyday car.

Faye has joined the Tamar team in 2022, providing sales support and helping everything run smoothly behind the scenes. She loves working as part of a small, friendly team where everyone works together to deliver the best experience for customers.

Outside of work, you’ll usually find Faye out walking and exploring new places. If she could choose any vehicle, she’d go for a VW Bespoke campervan. The idea of heading off on lots of spontaneous weekend adventures is right up her street!

Chris is our Shop & Parts Manager and has been with Tamar for an impressive 10 years. One of the things he enjoys most is that no two days are ever the same, and he gets to work alongside a friendly, supportive (and often hilarious!) team.

When he’s not at work, Chris loves spending time fishing and enjoying the great outdoors. His dream vehicle would be the Swift Monza – with plenty of room for a good night’s sleep and, most importantly, all of his fishing gear.
